Mindfulness: A Workshop Series with Jane Foster

Bringing awareness to everything we do and experience can help us live well no matter how stressful or challenging our circumstances. In fact, new research shows that intensive mindfulness programs confer significant benefits to individuals with various forms of anxiety and depression.

At Healium, we're pleased to host international group facilitator Jane Foster, MSc BACP Accred, for a month-long workshop series on mindfulness.

Over the course of four weekly sessions, Jane will lead a supportive group context, exploring and teaching:

  • meditations including a body-scan mediation;
  • mindful movement;
  • the impact of stress on our immune system and what we can do about it;
  • the use of breathing and mindfulness in "de-stressing" and coping with pain; and
  • mindful communication.

You'll learn to "de-stress" with grace and enhance your everyday life.

Dates and Time

Four Monday evenings: 29 October; and 5, 12 and 19 November. All sessions run 6.30 to 8.30 pm at Healium.

Registration and pricing

$160 early-bird registration (before 23 October); $180 afterwards. Workshop series is limited to 12 students. For more information, or to register, email Jane at janekcwarman@gmail.com or ring her on 021 206 7361.
